Executive Fitness Coach
Classically Trained Pianist
I’m the founder of Body By Akram in Scottsdale, where I coach executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Music, martial arts, and a career across technology and business have shaped the perspective I bring to my work.

The person behind
the coaching
My father, a Vietnam veteran, is my inspiration in fitness. He introduced us to martial arts when we were young and instilled discipline early.
I grew up with three older siblings. My mother helped shape my creativity, tolerance, and the way I connect with people. Both parents are part of the foundation I carry with me.
I grew up with a strong aptitude for mathematics, an appetite for books and study, and an ambition to develop my abilities fully. Curiosity has always been a powerful part of how I learn.
By 16, I was deeply involved in fitness and studying it with real curiosity. I saw the changes it made in people and experienced its effect on my own mindset.
I began teaching myself piano at 15. Music came to me naturally, especially its emotional expression. Technique required more deliberate work. At times, I practiced six to eight hours a day, working to bring what I heard and felt into the way I played.
At 19, I earned a full scholarship for piano performance at Arizona State University, where I studied with the piano faculty. My ambition was to become a concert pianist and share music around the world. I also gave concerts for senior citizens at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Sun City.
There have been difficult seasons in my life, and I’m still growing. Every day, I try to become a better version of myself and make a positive contribution to the people around me. Helping people is the legacy I want to build.
Outside work and music, I share my life with three Akitas: Kuma, Kai, and Koda.

Another part
of the story
Piano was an early ambition and a serious part of my life. My repertoire included Chopin, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, Bach, Medtner, Beethoven, and Haydn. Rachmaninoff is my favorite composer. These personal recordings share a small part of that musical background—from independent learning at 15 to classical study at ASU.

Intermezzo, Op. 118 No. 2

Ballade No. 2

Étude, Op. 8 No. 12
Three recordings from my personal collection.
